Dream tea by Margo Turner

Let’s get familiar! So you thought Dream Tea was only good for dreaming and tea-sipping!

Anyone that knows me knows that my first spiritual gift was dreaming and I love putting people

on to this awesome Dream Tea that I’ve been using for quite some time. This tea contains the

ingredients of Mugwort, Lavender, Star Anise, and Cinnamon. You can also add any sweetener

to your liking. What many don’t know about this tea is that it’s multi-faceted especially when it

comes to its many benefits displayed. This tea is not only great to encourage a dream state and a

good night’s sleep, but It also has many medicinal benefits under its belt. So let’s get into it!

First, we’re going to start with Mama Mugwort. A feminine plant that is also known as the Crone

or The Grandmother. She is known to have the wisdom that is brought forth while you are in

a dream state. Did you also know she can be used as a tonic to boost energy? You can also take

Mugwort for stomach and intestinal conditions including Colic, diarrhea, constipation, cramps,

weak digestion, worm infestations, and persistent vomiting. Mugwort can also be used to

stimulate gastric juice and bile secretion. It is also used as a liver tonic, to promote circulation, and as a sedative. Last but not least women can take Mugwort for irregular periods and other

menstrual problems.

Next up is sweet and tender Lavender. As mentioned earlier Mugwort aka The Crone would be

too intense by itself but in combination with Lavender, it helps to give Mugwort a softer

approach. Lavender is the BFF to Mugwort because it helps to improve sleep, release mental

blocks as well as encouraging calmness. I bet you didn’t know that Lavender not only helps to

soothe menstrual cramps but it also improves skin health, vomiting, nausea, intestinal gas,

upset stomach, and abdominal swelling. Who knew that lavender could do all of that?

What’s next on the agenda is beautiful and aromatic Star Anise. Spiritually it makes the cut

because it can be used for clairvoyance, increased psychic awareness, and keeping away

nightmares. Even with all of those mentioned, it has a treasure trove of medicinal benefits such

as alleviating cramps, fighting viruses, digestive aid, and protection. It also stops the growth of

bacteria and fungi, reduces respiratory congestion, improves lactation, eases menopausal

symptoms, lowers blood sugar, promotes bone health, regulates blood pressure, and circulation.

It is also a detoxifier and pain reliever.

Last but not least we have sweet Cinnamon. Cinnamon can be used to fight inflammation

associated with aches and pains. It has antioxidants that ward off free radicals that cause aging.

It also promotes blood flow, assisting new cell turnover that keeps your skin looking radiant and

young. Cinnamon can also boost your metabolism and can fight against neurological diseases,

improve daily concentration, and focus.

As with anything before taking any remedies either over the counter or herbal that you would

always consult a doctor or herbal practitioner before taking. Happy tea sipping!
